This classic Douay-Rheims version of the Old and New Testaments contains the invaluable footnotes, gathered by Fr. George Leo Haydock, from the Fathers and Doctors who lived in the early centuries of Christendom, closest in proximity to the lives of the Apostles.
First published in 1884 and digitally reproduced in order to ensure an exact duplication of the original text, this new edition in Hardback will include the Illustrated Bible Dictionary and a history of the books of the Bible in one volume. The cover will have gold embossing stamped on burgundy colored leather, using the pattern which appeared on the original 1884 edition, a gold cross with rich Catholic symbols patterning the entire front of the cover. This Bible will undoubtedly be a collectors item for many years to come and provide an irreplaceable version of the Bible which is uniquely one of a kind in the English language.

A
Response to the Scandals and Democratic Reforms That Threaten the
Catholic Church
TFP Committee on American Issues. "Finally, an erudite, succinct and
accurate diagnosis of the current sex scandal climate in Catholic
America. I Have Weathered Other Storms is an intelligent analysis of
the causes rather than merely the symptoms plaguing the Church today. I
was pleased to see a thoughtful and plausible diagnosis and prognosis
based on Catholic tradition, teaching and spirituality rather than a
media hype meant to justify watering down Church doctrine on sexuality
and ecclesiology. Every bishop and cardinal and every priest and
layperson should read I Have Weathered Other Storms to appreciate the
enemy's true objective." Rev. John Trigilio, Jr., PhD, ThD
President, Confraternity of Catholic Clergy. 178pp

Abbe Constant Fouard. Originally published in 1892 and with a forward
by James Cardinal Gibbons, this is the story of "the opening of the
great era of human history, and of that higher form of life, which the
whole civilized world gradually came to accept as its ideal." The
author, Abbe Fouard, using the information available only to an
intelligent and cultured historian, adds to the "clearness and
consecutiveness" of what we knew before, "while giving distinctness and
life to details hitherto obscure or unnoticed." "Jerusalem, Rome,
Antioch, are no longer to us mere names recalling only faint images of
ancient cities. We see them; we walk their streets; we catch the voices
and the thoughts of the crowds that throng them; we watch the divine
seed of the Church, as it springs to life and spreads and flourishes
amid the worst forms of moral decay." The erudite Abbe also provides
conclusive evidence refuting modern "historical criticism" and biblical
exegesis, which place St Luke's Gospel and Acts well after events
prophesied. For instance, St Luke has Our Lord prophesying the fall of
Jerusalem. According to the moderns, since there is no such thing as
prophesy, then Luke must have written his account(Gospel and Acts) well
after the actual events. Abbe Fouard soundly refutes this from the
writings of the early Fathers, such as St Irenaeus (also confirming the
early date of St Matthews Gospel). Incidentally, all of the conclusions
from his traditional, historical research and methods, have been
confirmed by recent archaeological finds of fragments of the early
Gospels themselves. The reader will gain a great and accurate
appreciation of the supernatural authenticity of the Gospels and the
Acts. The author lived in a world full of the beginnings of modernism
and wrote with an eye to refuting the "doubters of miracles", men
fooled by pseudo science that only want to deny the truth or remake it
to suite their needs. These men, of course, have succeeded in
revolutionizing and rewriting much of history in our day. The Abbe has
left us a wonderful gift, a beacon light of the truth, our holy
Tradition as laid out in the Scriptures and confirmed by learned
scholarship. ITEM #11252 $27.95
THE
BIBLICAL COMMISSION ON THE JEWS: CHANGES IN DOCTRINE & NEW ANATHEMAS
Atila S. Guimaraes. A. S. Guimarães analyzes the most recent
Pontifical Biblical Commission (PBC) document on this topic with a
preface by Cardinal Ratzinger. This shocking document proposes that a
future Jewish messiah would be accepted by Catholics, that Catholic
should learn how to read the Scriptures from the Jews, and more.
Guimarães clearly shows that the PBC and Cardinal Ratzinger
adopted a false method of interpretation of Holy Scriptures, a method
condemned by prior Popes and Councils as Protestant, Liberal, Modernist
and Progressivist. This work has been sent to all the Bishops of the
country. To date, no argument has denied its clear and objective
analysis. A must on the subject. 44 pp. ITEM #11253

THE
UNIVERSAL REPUBLIC BLESSED BY
THE CONCILIAR POPES
Atila S. Guimares. The United Nations was founded to achieve the
Masonic ideal of a universal republic of peace independent of God, yet
it became impotent before the many wars raging throughout the world.
When its influence began crumbling, it was the Conciliar Popes of the
Catholic Church who came to its support, praising its revolutionary
ideals of liberty, equality and fraternity and conflicting with Church
doctrine as taught by prior Pontiffs. A unique analysis. 28 pp.

A
CORDIAL INVITATION TO 171 RABBIS AND JEWISH SCHOLARS
Atila S. Guimares. The recent "Dabru Emet" statement of Jewish Scholars
praises the public statements of remorse by Catholics for past
mistreatment of the Jews and Judaism. It then proceeds to falsely
approximate the Catholic Church with Nazism. Guimarães not only
destroys this accusation, but exposes the little-known tenets of the
Jewish Talmud that vilify non-Jews and exhort Jews to deceive and
despoil non-Jews, particularly Catholics. He then invites the Rabbis
and Scholars: "Gentlemen, isn't it your turn to ask pardon?" A timely
work to spread and study. 20 pp. ITEM #11258 $4.00
Atila S. Guimares. An exposé of the radical aims of the extreme
progressivists based on the movement's own book and numerous articles
from European newspapers. This study sheds light on the plot by WAC to
press for women's ordination, married priests, a Papacy without power
or privilege, Bishops elected by the people, and a new and far-reaching
revolution in the sexual morality of the Church. The most complete
exposé of WAC that exists in English. 32 pp.

WILLIAM
F. BUCKLEY, JR. Pied Piper for the Establishment
John F. Mc Manus. Conservatism used to equal an undeniable love for
God, family and our Republic. That was before the "neo" conservatives
came, before William F. Buckley, Jr. was chosen by the liberal
establishment as the chief spokesman for conservatives. From the 1960s
to today, conservative Americans have been led astray by Buckley and
other false conservatives who want to interject the U.S. government
into almost every aspect of our lives. John F. Mc Manus, president of
The John Birch Society, presents a critical examination of Buckley's
life and career, including Buckley's: promotion of liberal causes, from
abortion, drugs, and pornography, to the Panama Canal giveaway;
connections to the CFR, CIA and Yale's Skull & Bones Society;
selection of ex-Communists, Trotskyites, and CIA veterans to staff
National Review; and unwarranted attack on JBS founder Robert Welch to
prove himself "acceptable" to the liberal establishment. Don't let
yourself be fooled! By understanding how and why the New
York-Washington establishment embraced Buckley and his so-called
conservatism, you can avoid the traps laid down by similar false
conservatives. Get your copy today! 288pp. HB

principles from Natural Law, Scriptures, and Catholic Morals that
support war and applies them to the present-day situation. Do you want

Marian Horvat, Ph.D. This work appears at an opportune moment -
when many young parents are asking to know more about how the Catholic
family was constituted in the past. It answers this question, and gives
customs and practices that can be applied in your family. Explains how
to build and maintain continuity and stability in a family for
generations. Dr. Horvat comments on Msgr. Henri Delassus' classic work,
The Spirit of the Family, and reproduces a timely chapter from it:
"Paternal Authority and Maternal Piety." First in a series of
booklets on the family. 64 pp. ITEM #11264 $7.00
Mark Fellows. Jesus was born one cold night in Bethlehem, an event
attended by Mary and Joseph, and ignored by the world; yet from this
seemingly small event our world has been changed forever. In 1917
Jesus' Mother appeared to three children on a Portuguese hillside and
gave them a message for the Church and the world. She confirmed the
message was from Heaven by producing the Miracle of the Sun, a
miraculous and terrifying event witnessed by tens of thousands of
people, and reported by the secular press of the day. Then everyone
moved on with the events of their lives. Ignored by the world, the
message of Fatima was revealed, slowly and by degrees, in the history
of the Twentieth Century: the rise of Communism, the martyrdom of the
good, and a world wide descent into godlessness that has caused so much
misery and confusion in our own day. Many believe that the Third Secret
of Fatima, never fully revealed by the Church, is writing the history
of our new millennium. Can the message of Heaven given at Fatima really
address our contemporary problems, and offer solutions that will
benefit us in this life, and the next? 345pp. ITEM

M. Aladel, C.M. The principal author of this book, Father Aladel, was a
member of the Congregation of the Mission founded by Saint Vincent de
Paul. More importantly, he was the spiritual director and confessor of
Saint Catherine Laboure. The Miraculous Medal was designed by the
Mother of God and communicated by her to Sister Catherine with the
instruction that this devotion be spread throughout the Church. The
inscription: O Mary conceived without sin pray for us who have recourse
to thee, anticipated the definition of the Immaculate Conception by
nearly a quarter of a century. This book relates not only the heavenly
visitations given to this humble saint, as well as her adventures and
crosses endured for Our Lady's cause, but also it gives the ensuing
history of the medal itself with many accounts of miracles which
accompanied its pious reception. 227pp. ITEM #11268
